"Best merino t-shirt I've owned so far. Super smooth fabric. Great blue color."

— Paul (5/5)

SO happy I bought this shirt!

"I just received my shirt and tried it on. 1) The blue is gorgeous! So rich, leaning to teal. 2) Incredibly soft; maybe the softest merino I own (and that's quite a few pieces from some of the "best" makers) 3) Yes, very long 4) Fits exactly by using the size chart. For folks who know about garment construction, YALA's merino does not have the higher quality stitching. But I think they are a great value. The pieces I bought a few months ago are performing great."

Love this shirt

"I purchased two of these for my sons. They are warm and soft."

— Nancy K. (5/5)

"Love this! A bit long but great for a tunic."

— Moussa (5/5)

6'1 male. Loved the color.

"6'1 male. Loved the color. Medium fit me well, as expected. Fabric felt nice. I wanted to like it. However! This shirt is super long. On the order of at least 6" longer than any other t-shirt I own. Looking back at the model photos, I guess it's kind of visible there as well. Except it was easily past the bottom of the zipper on my pants, so my torso must be shorter than the model's. It looked...bad untucked, and there was too much fabric for me to want to tuck in. But if t-shirts are never long enough for you, then this is definitely the right shirt!"

Q&A

Our Story

Hi, we’re Rachel and Tif, YALA’s Co-Owners and besties. We started working at YALA more than 20 years ago, worked our way up, and took ownership in 2019. We’ve been here through a lot of changes, but one thing hasn’t changed: we’re still here, still dreaming up softer things, and still doing business with heart, intention, and a whole lot of care.

Growing with YALA from seed to successful business gave us the foundation and philosophy that we guide YALA with today. Our goal is transparency so that you know we are a brand you can trust.

Sustainability is a journey, a learning process. We'll make mistakes, but the important thing is that we learn from them, make the changes necessary and keep moving forward.
~

That's the plan.

WHY BAMBOO?

With sustainable and responsible production a top priority, we choose organically grown bamboo as our primary fabric for reasons exclusive to this single, prolific plant.
