Fabric Care Instructions

95% Viscose from Bamboo | 5% Spandex

Machine or hand wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors and mild soap. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Low iron if desired. For best results, wash separately. 

We recommend washing your YALA with Tru Earth Eco-Strip Laundry Detergent

Note: Some eventual pilling is common with all untreated, natural fibers. To minimize pilling, wash all items inside out and reduce machine dry time. Or just hang or lay flat to dry. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer balls. Wash separate from heavier, rougher fabrics like denim.

For longer life: Wear more. Wash less.

"I just returned from a wedding in Mazatlan. While the outfit I wore for the wedding itself was not from YALA, most everything else was! The V-Neck Cap sleeve Maxi was perfect for the activities and the weather. The dress carried me from a warm afternoon gathering to an evening overlooking the ocean. I packed a couple of light sweaters that varied the dress’ look. One excellent discovery was how well it washed after dropping some lunch on the dress. I hand washed the spot on the dress and there was no sign I’d been a bit messy! It looked great at dinner."

I'm slowly replacing my entire wardrobe with Yala! Dress it up with the Sophie Wrap knotted in the front for a casual and comfortable going-out outfit. "I’ve owned Yala nightgowns for almost 10 years ( same ones husband found while I was sweating through that change.) rediscovered them while shopping for “cooling” nightgown that I could also venture outside an RV at nighttime in. Bought the Olive one, and still my fave! A year later, I could afford another- choose blue in a smaller size. Now just got the black on. Yes- I have 3 of this same classic gown!
