Fabric Care Instructions

95% Viscose from Bamboo | 5% Spandex

Machine or hand wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors and mild soap. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Low iron if desired. For best results, wash separately. 

We recommend washing your YALA with Tru Earth Eco-Strip Laundry Detergent

Note: Some eventual pilling is common with all untreated, natural fibers. To minimize pilling, wash all items inside out and reduce machine dry time. Or just hang or lay flat to dry. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer balls. Wash separate from heavier, rougher fabrics like denim.

For longer life: Wear more. Wash less.

Didn't know I could be so happy with pajamas

"Wow, these are amazing. They're a cross between pajamas and long underwear, during the winter: they keep me warm without overheating me. Plus they feel sooo good on. And the elastic is perfect: keeps snug, even after long use, but never is so tight that it binds. I basically live in my pajamas, as someone who's housebound because of illness, and these are by far the best I've ever had. Thank you so much, Yala!"

"I love these pajamas! Having the cuff around the bottoms and the wrists keeps them from riding up. The fabric is soft and cuddly. The last set I had, I bought around 10 years ago and they were finally wearing out after almost constant use. My only suggestion is that the bottoms would be better in a solid color. I feel a bit like a prison inmate when I look in the mirror."

Hi, we’re Rachel and Tif, YALA’s Co-Owners and besties. We started working at YALA more than 20 years ago, worked our way up, and took ownership in 2019. We’ve been here through a lot of changes, but one thing hasn’t changed: we’re still here, still dreaming up softer things, and still doing business with heart, intention, and a whole lot of care.

WHY BAMBOO?

With sustainable and responsible production a top priority, we choose organically grown bamboo as our primary fabric for reasons exclusive to this single, prolific plant.
