They provide a discreet moisture-wicking and anti-chaffing underlayer on hot days and double as a gentle smoothing alternative to shapewear. Our ButterSoft™ Slip Shorts feature a high-rise waistband, gentle flatlock stitching, and plenty of spandex to maintain their shape securely throughout the day. All ButterSoft Shorts and Leggings are semi-sheer and intended to be worn as underlayers or paired with longer, tunic-style tops or dresses.

Fabric Care Instructions

89% Viscose from Bamboo | 11% Spandex

Machine or hand wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors and mild soap. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Low iron if desired. For best results, wash separately. 

We recommend washing your YALA with Tru Earth Eco-Strip Laundry Detergent

Note: Some eventual pilling is common with all untreated, natural fibers. To minimize pilling, wash all items inside out and reduce machine dry time. Or just hang or lay flat to dry. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer balls. Wash separate from heavier, rougher fabrics like denim.

For longer life: Wear more. Wash less.
