Fabric Care Instructions

95% Viscose from Bamboo | 5% Spandex

Machine or hand wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors and mild soap. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Low iron if desired. For best results, wash separately. 

We recommend washing your YALA with Tru Earth Eco-Strip Laundry Detergent

Note: Some eventual pilling is common with all untreated, natural fibers. To minimize pilling, wash all items inside out and reduce machine dry time. Or just hang or lay flat to dry. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer balls. Wash separate from heavier, rougher fabrics like denim.

For longer life: Wear more. Wash less.

Almost perfect

"This dress is almost perfect. When it was a night gown without the ruffle I bought several of them in different colors. And I loved them! I recently bought the dress version and I have to say that I hate the ruffle and I really would prefer more of an A-line in the dress part. But I love the bodice, so flattering, so comfortable, so soft. So I ripped (with a sewing ripper) off the ruffle on the bottom. Then I cut the ruffle into triangles and slit up the sides of the dress and I sewed the triangles into the sides. Now it’s an extremely cute, and very flattering A-line dress on me. Plus, it twirls when I dance! I am thinking about getting a second one in a different color and doing it again. It turned out super cute. I don’t know why that isn’t a style right now: empire waist with an A-line underneath. It’s the cutest style on my body type and hard to find. Especially in super soft bamboo. And it’s the perfect length at just below my knee. I can dance and twirl and run in it."

Comfortable and fits just right

"I’m 5’2” and I’m so impressed that the length of this dress is perfect wearing flats. The fabric is soft and smooth, it feels so light to wear. The fit is flattering for my body shape; I’m mostly fit (with a bit of postpartum belly) and I don’t like things super tight or super baggy and this fits just right- fitted but still flowy."

"It is really cute and is a pretty color! It is a little tight in the bust (and I’m not very big), and it is way too long (drags on the ground about 4 inches. Luckily I can sew to shorten it) Otherwise I love it."
