Fabric Care Instructions

95% Viscose from Bamboo | 5% Spandex

Machine or hand wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors and mild soap. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Low iron if desired. For best results, wash separately. 

We recommend washing your YALA with Tru Earth Eco-Strip Laundry Detergent

Note: Some eventual pilling is common with all untreated, natural fibers. To minimize pilling, wash all items inside out and reduce machine dry time. Or just hang or lay flat to dry. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer balls. Wash separate from heavier, rougher fabrics like denim.

For longer life: Wear more. Wash less.

"I wear size 2X in tops and love the Yala bamboo mens collection. They have many pretty colors. Crewneck short sleeve, crewneck long sleeve, hooded in XXL all fit my 2X body. They then have the longer length that usually covers the tush. If it fits perfectly, do like Yala recommends and hang to dry. You can gently stretch it when wet if you would like it a little looser."

Our Story

Hi, we’re Rachel and Tif, YALA’s Co-Owners and besties. We started working at YALA more than 20 years ago, worked our way up, and took ownership in 2019. We’ve been here through a lot of changes, but one thing hasn’t changed: we’re still here, still dreaming up softer things, and still doing business with heart, intention, and a whole lot of care.

Growing with YALA from seed to successful business gave us the foundation and philosophy that we guide YALA with today. Our goal is transparency so that you know we are a brand you can trust.
