Fabric Care Instructions

95% Viscose from Bamboo | 5% Spandex

Machine or hand wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors and mild soap. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Low iron if desired. For best results, wash separately. 

We recommend washing your YALA with Tru Earth Eco-Strip Laundry Detergent

Note: Some eventual pilling is common with all untreated, natural fibers. To minimize pilling, wash all items inside out and reduce machine dry time. Or just hang or lay flat to dry. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer balls. Wash separate from heavier, rougher fabrics like denim.

For longer life: Wear more. Wash less.

Why would you change a perfect product?

"I really want to order these, but they are on sale and you cannot return them if they don’t work out. I have had three pairs of these pajamas over the years and loved them! They are the best pajamas I’ve ever had. However, if you read the description it says they’ve made the bust roomier, thicker fabric and pockets in the top. Number one, it was certainly stretchy enough and if they make the bust roomier your boobs are gonna be flopping not held nicely and lightly in place. Number two the fabric was spectacularly, soft and lightweight. I don’t know what “heavier fabric” means but I certainly don’t want heavier fabric for my pajamas. Third why would anyone put pockets in pajamas that hit right on your hips. I would assume they would bunch up and be uncomfortable when you’re laying in bed. I don’t understand these changes and I can’t order them because I wouldn’t be able to return them. I don’t understand why you would change a perfect product. I am terribly sad and hope that they bring back the original style or at the very least remove pockets. Who needs pockets when they’re sleeping! This is ridiculous."

Beautiful neckline on these PJs!

"I loved the beautiful neckline on these PJs. Unfortunately the colors didn't work for me, wish these came in darker colors and that they sold the tops and bottoms separately. I have other YALA PJs, and I'll never wear another brand again. YALA sleeps cool but somehow also keeps me warm. Absolutely love this fabric! ."

Our Story

Hi, we’re Rachel and Tif, YALA’s Co-Owners and besties. We started working at YALA more than 20 years ago, worked our way up, and took ownership in 2019. We’ve been here through a lot of changes, but one thing hasn’t changed: we’re still here, still dreaming up softer things, and still doing business with heart, intention, and a whole lot of care.

Growing with YALA from seed to successful business gave us the foundation and philosophy that we guide YALA with today. Our goal is transparency so that you know we are a brand you can trust.
