Fabric Care Instructions

95% Viscose from Bamboo | 5% Spandex

Machine or hand wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors and mild soap. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Low iron if desired. For best results, wash separately. 

We recommend washing your YALA with Tru Earth Eco-Strip Laundry Detergent

Note: Some eventual pilling is common with all untreated, natural fibers. To minimize pilling, wash all items inside out and reduce machine dry time. Or just hang or lay flat to dry. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer balls. Wash separate from heavier, rougher fabrics like denim.

For longer life: Wear more. Wash less.

Love this shirt!

"Wow! Another winner from Yala! This is already my summer go-to shirt. Soft, flowy, and flattering. I paired with the Greta Buttersoft cropped leggings, sandals and a long necklace for an easy outfit to wear while visiting my son in humid Texas last week. I popped the Sophia cardigan (tied at the waist) over it for a bit more warmth at home in Oregon this week. I was worried the Emerald green color would be too bright (I tend to stick to black and grey) but it is the pop of color my wardrobe needed. It's a beautiful shade of rich green. Please consider making this essential top in more colors (Lapis, Aster, etc). Thanks, Yala! I usually wear an XL or L in Yala tops. This runs a bit generously, and the L was perfect for me, with plenty of coverage in the back. YOU'LL LOVE IT!"

Hi, we’re Rachel and Tif, YALA’s Co-Owners and besties. We started working at YALA more than 20 years ago, worked our way up, and took ownership in 2019. We’ve been here through a lot of changes, but one thing hasn’t changed: we’re still here, still dreaming up softer things, and still doing business with heart, intention, and a whole lot of care.

Growing with YALA from seed to successful business gave us the foundation and philosophy that we guide YALA with today. Our goal is transparency so that you know we are a brand you can trust.
